The guitarist Elliott Sharp and the turntable player Christian Marclay met in a studio in New York and, during three days, developed unusual tonal worlds.
The encounter of both tone artists brought a «high noon» for creative music on the threshold of the new millennium: metropolitan hi-tech sounds between free and techno, chaos and order, improvisation and construction.

Tradition is important but not something to become stultifying...this session is refreshing in that sense...wasn't it Duke Ellington who remarked that there aren't different types of music; just good or bad music?
